Why are there watermarks on your images?

I watermark my images posted anywhere online for theft reasons. I do not wish to have my work stolen. There are various methods to prevent the "Right Click + Save", but someone could always just use the "Ctrl + Print Screen" command to get what they want. Instead of wasting my time with codes to prevent right click theft, I simply watermark all of my images for my peace of mind. The watermarks are not present on prints, only signatures.

Where can I buy your original paintings?

Currently all of my original paintings go up for sale on e-bay. I do not have originals for sale on my website at the moment, but I hope to change that in the future. If you are looking for commissions please see my commissions page.

What mediums do you work with?

My favored medium of choice is watercolors, a medium with a great deal of patience required. My older works are mostly Prisma colored pencils. As for the rest of my work, I use my Intuos2 Wacom Tablet along with Adobe Photoshop. I'm currently learning to use Corel Painter as well. All of my images displayed in the complete works galleries will list the mediums used and time taken.

What type of papers do you use?

I had been using 140lb. Cold Press papers, but I have recently obtained some 140lb. Hot Press paper which I seem to be getting along with a little better.

How long does it take for you to complete a work?

That can take anywhere from 3 hours to 40+ (so far). It depends on the detail, the size, and the medium. All of my images displayed in the completed works galleries will list the mediums used and time taken.

Are the people that appear in your works real people or just made up?

Yes and no. Some people that appear in my paintings are friends of mine, such as Jayde [www.jaydehilliard.com], some of the people are me, and some of the other people are either just made up out of the blue or characters of mine.

Isn't it a bit vain to use yourself in your own works?

Art is about self expression, and I feel that I may use whatever subject I wish...including myself. Some of my work is created for fun, some of it is random, but the vast majority of it is painted for myself..because I desired to do so. So who's to limit my subjects?

Do you sign all of your paintings?

All of my paintings are signed on the front, sometimes on the back.

Where can I buy your prints?

You can purchase my prints through this website or through e-bay (when available).

What print sizes are available?

The majority of my prints are available in as little as 6"x10" through 13"x19". If you want a particular size and you can't find the auction or order email me and I'll see if I can make it available for you!

How do you ship your prints and how much does it cost?

For all of the prints that I ship within the US I ship them via priority mail for $3.90. You can buy as many prints as you like and they will all be shipped at said price. I DO ship outside of the US, but you will have to email me for a shipping quote. I add insurance and delivery confirmation upon request but it costs the standard www.usps.com price for insurance and delivery confirmation.

Can I use your artwork on my website, for website desings, psp tubes, t-shirts, jewelry charms, mousepads, etc?

Before using artwork from ANY artist for ANY purpose, permission MUST be granted from the artist themself. Otherwise one is in violation of copyright laws. I am no exception to this rule. All of my artwork is owned by me, and I'm quite particular with how it's used. I also DO NOT and CAN NOT allow the usage of my work to create items for personal use or for resale without a proper license. If you are interested in licensing my artwork please e-mail me. I do not want to be rude but I take this very seriously. If you have any questions please email me.

I've seen your artwork, or work like it, on another website or on items for sale on ebay (or elsewhere). I'm not sure if they have the right to use them, what do I do?

If you come across a website or a seller who is using my artwork, please, PLEASE email me first! There are some companies that I do allow to use my work, but if the person or items you suspect are "stolen" or "bootlegged", please let me know and I'll take care of it and let you know. Please do not send them flaming emails, they do no good and can only get you in trouble, and I don't want that to happen. Any of the sites I have given permission to should also ALWAYS have a link back to my website (on of them at least). If they do not, chances are it's stolen, but again, PLEASE email me first.

Do you sell wholesale?

Yes, I do sell my work at wholesale prices for orders of 20 items or more. Please email me for a wholesale order quote.

Can I use your artwork to have a tattoo put on myself?

Go for it! And when it's done feel free to send me some photos! I just may (with your permission) display your photo on my website! =^_^= If you are a tattoo artists and want to offer my artwork in your shop for flash, please email me! I will allow it but a certain amount of credit must be given where the flash will be displayed.
